Ripple Effect Animation

This tutorial will show you to create simple ripple effect image in Gimp.

Step 1: Open Gimp and go to File > Open to import image in Gimp.

Step 2: Select Text tool from tool box and type the words, change font color and size, below image will show you clearly.

 

Step 3: Right click on Text layer and select Merge Down to merge text layer and image layer.

   








 









Step 4: Go to Filter > Animation > Rippling. Small script window will open, click on OK button. Now Ripple animation is ready.

Step 5: This is the final step to finish animation, go to menu File > Save or Save as then a small pop up window will open and select the destination to save the file, then type .Gif next to file name and click save.

 Select save as animation to export

 Then select Loop forever and click save

Now Ripple effect animation save in your PC.
