Glowing effect on text

Step 1: Open Photoshop click on File > New

Create size width 400xHeight 200, example image given below

Step 2: After new file opened choose color as you like to fill on the page, i choose here #f4950d (color code) the window will look like this

Add text on the page click text tool and type welcome, i chose bubble 1 font and 75 pt size of the font. See the example image

Step 3: Add effects on text click fx button and choose blending option

then click on color over lay and choose the color as you like, i chose the navy blue color and click on drop shadow. Then click on outer glow and set 0% spread, 5% size and add change the glow color as you like.

Step 4: Then press ctrl+J in windows and command + J in mac to create two duplicate layers. After that you will find 3 layers on the Photoshop page.I named the layers welcome1, welcome2 and welcome3. Double click on outer glow in welcome2 layer to increase the glow effect than welcome1. As its same do again in welcome3 layer to increase glow effect than welcome2.

Step 5: Click on the eye symbol to hide layers welcome2 & welcome3. Then click on window menu to create animation window > Animation, a small vertical window will open at bottom of the page. Then click new layer twice.

Step 6: This is the final step to finish this animation. Click on the 2nd layer in animation frame and unhidden the welcome2 layer by clicking the eye symbol. Do it same thing to 3rd layer with welcome3 layer. Then click on the play button to see the animation and the time as you like. I selected time is 0.2 seconds.

Then go to file menu and click save for web&devices to save this animation. The simple animation text is finish. The visitors can create like this simple animation and share or send to their friends, its good than sending simple text message.
